Working Class History

Working Class History is a New York/London-based educational website and podcast that attempts to tell history from the ground up…“as opposed to the top-down accounts of most history books”.

I illustrated and designed this Loukanikos “Riot Dog” poster for the WCH store (2019). Riot dogs are a world-wide cultural phenomenon. They are most often street dogs that tend to show up and support protesters (who are usually sympathetic to their cause as well), whenever there are massive demonstrations in the streets, and especially when protesters clash with the police. Loukanikos, a Greek and very feisty riot dog, was one of the most famous of them.

I illustrated and designed this Constructivist style coffee mug celebrating UK union activism and the right to stop work for a simple tea break, for the Working Class History store, as well. (2020).
